Small Country Towns

Can anybody recommend some nice small towns in the english countryside?

hi there! there are a lot of nice towns around the countryside here in England. if you want to live where you can have the best of both worlds - a nice countryside and also a good access to the city of London - then I recommend Surrey, in Kent county. If you would like it nearer to London city, then Romford, Essex (where I live is nice too) and you can still enjoy the beauty of the countryside. It's also surrounded by good shopping centers and the best thing about it is a nice and peaceful mix of culture located in one small town. On the other hand, if you want purely to have a spectacular countryside and does not mind the distance to the capital city, then Colchester Town is highly recommended. In fact, that is where we are heading probably in 2 or 3 years time from now. Hope this helps. Ciao!

Thank you for the recommendations. I will do some research on the places mentioned.
