About Panay Island,,?

I have learned more about Panay Island and have contacted Pandan govt. for more info. The pictures I have seen, and what I have learned about the area, are very encouraging. I wish to learn so much more! I do intend to go there soon, for about three weeks, and explore the island well. It does sound like what I am looking for, so, thanks to those who have responded. Well, I best get some clothes on, and go to work, and earn some money for the trp there! Oh, for some fresh pine apple right now!

If you'd like, contact me when you are on your way. Be happy to show you around. My wife was born and raised here and we have been living in Iloilo since Jan. 2002. The new international airport in Cabatuan (30 min from downtown) is scheduled to open on June 13th FYI.

I'd recommend you stay at the Sarabia Pension house at the back of the Sarabia hotel. It's only P550 a night for a single and is a decent safe place with aircon and hot water. They allow you to use the swimming pool there too for free as a guest.

maayong gab-i - good evening

nga-a - why
kamot/tiil - hands/feet
nagutom ako - I'm hungry
