Small Country Towns

Can anybody recommend some nice small towns in the dutch countryside?

There are a couple of nice small towns in Holland. One of my favorite is the historical and popular Valkenburg. It has everything you needed. If you prefer to go mountain biking or simply trecking, it has its slopes and hills. It has been dotted with castle ruins and remains that made it as one of the tourist destination in Holland. It has caves and other attractions like the sauna and all. It does have its shopping sites too. If you are in for fun and adventure... this is the place!

As for residing in a quiet town... there are a lot to choose from. I am just not too familiar with it coz i'm more of a tourist than a resident. ;)
