Couple of hours is enough... Of course it's all about the details, so you can spend a lot longer without getting bored. Unfortunately they have deliberately made the paths one person wide, so it is very hard to stand still in one place for long: people are constantly trying to pass you. They don't want people to hang around all day!

The attractions at Madurodam change, that is, the side-attractions do... They often have some kind of exhibition as a sideshow, sometimes, in winter, it's ice-sculptures or a light show at night. The main attraction, the miniature city, takes about 2 hours to see, but you can spend as much time there as you like. You can race through it in 30 minutes if you like, or, spend all day there. The paths are definitely NOT one person wide, although Madurodam definitely is not Disneyland either, the whole of Madurodam fits on a football-field with room to spare. The light show will be from december 22 to januari 6th at 19:00 hours... |
