| Do i really need the passport coming back from Tijuana in January? is it really...
...enforsed? I wanted to go the last wk of december to visit my grandmother in Rosarito and come back the wk after new years, but i havent gotten my passport. that means i have to get my two sons and mine and i dont and havent had that kinda money. so how does it work? if im going b4 2008..they wont ask for it rite? n coming back into the U.S in jan will they ask for it?

This depends on if you are traveling by land or air. If you are flying, the passports have been required since January of this year, and you MUST have them. If you are traveling by land, January 31, 2008 will require either the WHTI document, passport, or government issued ID such as Driver's License, and proof of US citizenship (your birth certificate works). You can visit www.travel.state.gov for more information including their phone number for passport and travel issues. |
