I am an american citizen but i want to move to Haiti permanently. Can i buy

a one way ticket? I tried once a couple of years ago but American airlines forced me to buy a 2 way ticket.

Even if you buy a round-trip ticket, you are not required to take the return portion. A lot of thimes that is even cheaper than buying a one-way.

Good luck with your move! I was seriously considering doing the same thing. I even had a job lined up in Haiti. I still think about it sometimes.

At first I thought this was a pun. I don't know why but "One way ticket to haiti" sounds like a pun. Is it?

They probably did in accordance with Haiti laws
If you travel to a country that you are not a citizen of, and that country has no land border with another country you must have either a return ticket or a continuing ticket to another country
