Convince Parents To Move To Guatemala?

i'm of a korean decent, and my dad live/works in guatemala.
and, i've been there a few times, but last summer, i was transformed from the beauty, and the lifestyle of GUATEMALA. its a dangerous place to live, but with a body guard and tank-like car, i dont think anything will happen as long as we pray. i'm going to high school next year, and education is probably better off for me considering that people there went to NYU, Pepperdine, Harvard, and Georgetown. the lifestyle is crazy. weathers nice, i'll proably learn spanish, i'll make more friends from a different culture, i can escape from any malignancy from NY here. my dad doesnt really like the idea because its dangerous there. but how is a way i can convince them?
im going to an international school

It's not gonna happen. I've been to Guatemala and you're right: it is a beautiful country. But your dad's even more right: it is very dangerous. I'm not sure what 'malignancy' you're concerned about in New York but you don't have to have a bodyguard and armored car to live there. And Guatemala's educational system is inferior to what you have here in the US. Yes, some people have risen above it but where have they chosen to go to university? And they are a very small minority. Lastly, if you can't learn Spanish and make friends from different cultures in New York, you can't do it anywhere. Be grateful you're where you are. 90% of the people in the world probably want to live in the US and you're here! If you still feel this way when you graduate from college, maybe you can get a job with your dad's company and move to Guatemala then.
