| I might be moving to Denmark this fall?
What I want to know is, has anyone ever been to Roskilde University Centre, or is anyone currently attending the college? That's where I'm applying for their English degree. Also, I'm going to be moving a lot of my stuff to Denmark because my fiance lives there, so is there a cheap and easy way of shipping things to Denmark? Thanks! I'm moving to Denmark to be with my fiance, you idiot. Why the heck would I want to live in Asia where I'd be like a sardine in a tin can. |

Call around and look into shipping companies and ask them about LTL shipping. (Less Than Trailer shipping.) I'm not sure what the rates are but I think you'll find if you're shipping a fair amount of goods, this is your best option. Air freight will cost you an arm and both your legs! I have a friend who's from Denmark who went Rosklide and loved it. I've also traveled to Denmark and found the people to be friendly and you'll find that about 95% of them speak English PERFECTLY! My friend also said that Danish food sucks which is why they have open arms to other cultures and want them to open restaurants. I had outstanding Mexican food in Copenhagen. (Yeah...I was shocked too.) One thing to expect is the winter is cold and dark - sun rises around 10am and sets around 3pm. Be prepared for that! Oh, and don't be shocked when you see baby strollers outside of restaurants....with babies in them!!!! It's normal and is a part of their culture. Have fun and good luck!!! |
