| Moving to Zagreb, Croatia.?
I'm moving to Zagreb next winter, or at least I'm planning to, and I'm thinking about accommodation. I would like to live in an apartment for these six to eight months I plan to be there. But I can't find any that offers accommodation for that long time and for a reasonable price. I don't want to take my furniture with me so I want a place that's furnished. Hope someone can help me.. thanks. |

Furnished appartments are much expencier than unfurnished ones. I do understand that you don't want to be buying any furniture for such a short period of time, so I guess you will have to go for the furnished option. They will probably make you sign a contract for one year but that doesnt mean that you have to stay for a year, as long as you give them a one month notice, it wont be a problem. I would recomend you to search for some realestate agencies and see what is out there. The way I go about finding an appartment in Croatia is by buying a add paper with which has most of the available places on offer and the phone numbers of all the realestate agencies and start calling. Once you get there, I am guessing you will need a week the most to find a place to live (with the help of a native person for getting around town and if a translation is needed) I hope this helped! Zagreb is gorgeus I am sure you will love it! P.S. - If you are a student, there are few good student campuses not far from down town and affordable and of course furnished! |
