I really like him, but he is moving to China for a year in 4 months..?

He makes me smile, and i love being with him. But, him moving will make things complicated...

Do we stay friends? Or give dating a try..?

Friends.
Dating would make it more complicated and a lot harder for you to let him go when he leaves.
