| Moving to Belarus from U.S.?
Hello All, My wife and I are planning on moving to belarus from here in the U.S. she moved here for high school from there originally and now wants to return. I've never really dealed with anything international before and I need some help. I'm wondering what is the first thing I should do... I'm 20 years old and never even traveled intl before. Idk anything about passports or visas.... so whats the first thing i need to look into when attempting to move to belarus. like what kind of visa, migration etc... also how is the government run and operated there?? How different from the U.S.? Is there a draft or are men forced into the military or how does that all work? Also I wanted to double check to make sure I'm actually allowed to go over there and stay. My wife and I are both citizens here in the U.S. I'm a native and was born here... she lived in belarus up until she was 15. I can speak fluent russian so language wise I should be Ok. Anyone with tips or suggestions for me please help!
Also- how should I start looking for real estate and jobs over there..... Thanks much to anyone who may help me out with this.... Tony
Just another added detail that may help some answers incase..... My Wife's father abandoned her and her mother when she was a little girl and she lived with her mother for the longest time.... My Step-Father In Law I guess you could say went on a business trip to moscow and met my mother in law, moved here to the U.S. and got married... he took care of most of the work.. Ik her mom can help me with some little things, but she isn't the most resourceful... thats why I'm searching for a little bit more precise answers.. Thanks Again!
